Overview

Confirm your personal information and registration details before Ekho can process your vehicle’s title and registration. You’ll verify your identity, provide an address for mailing paperwork, and answer state-specific questions needed for us to complete your title and registration documents. The information required depends on your registration state.

How It Works

After completing identity verification during checkout, provide any missing personal information and your mailing address. Ekho helps automate the process by filling in information where possible. Once confirmed, generate registration documents and process your title and registration.

Provide Personal Information

Your identity was verified earlier in checkout, and certain information is already filled in from your verified ID. Provide your personal details for registration. Information Required:
  • Phone number: Your primary contact for DMV correspondence
  • Sex: Must match your driver’s license
  • Military status: Check if you’re active duty

Confirm Your Mailing Address

Provide your mailing address. Mailing Address: Used for receiving plates and documents. You may provide an address different from your registration address and it may include a P.O. Box.
Your mailing and registration addresses are locked after identity verification. Contact support if these need to change.

Provide ATV rider details

If your purchase includes an ATV (all-terrain vehicle), you’ll see additional fields during the registration information step to identify the intended rider. ATV-specific fields:
  • Intended rider name: The full name of the person who will ride the ATV
  • Relationship to purchaser: Your relationship to the intended rider (Self, Son/Daughter, Spouse, Parent, Other Family, or Other)
These fields appear only for ATV vehicle types and are required before you can proceed. The information is used on the Rider Age Acknowledgment Form, which is part of your signing documents.

Review and Confirm

Double-check all information before proceeding. Before Continuing: Verify:
  • Name spelling matches ID exactly
  • Addresses are complete and accurate
  • Phone numbers have correct area code
  • All personal information is accurate
Common Mistakes to Avoid:
  • Name mismatch: Use exact name from ID, not nickname
  • Phone errors: Use current, active number
  • Name spelling: Use exact name from ID
What Happens Next: After confirmation:
  • Information validated
  • Registration and title fees calculated
  • Required document list generated
  • You proceed to uploading your documents (if applicable, in rare cases)
If You Make a Mistake:
  • Before proceeding: Use “Back” button to correct
  • After proceeding: May need to contact support
  • After document generation: Changes require support assistance
Take your time and review all information carefully. Corrections are easy now but become more difficult after documents are generated.

Contact support immediately. Depending on timing, we may be able to update your address. If documents are already generated, you may need to update with the DMV after registration.
Yes, your mailing address can be a P.O. Box. This is where you’ll receive plates and registration documents.
Every state has different requirements. Even different scenarios within the same state can trigger different field requirements based on vehicle type and other factors.
