Overview

The vehicle details page shows everything you need to know about a specific vehicle. View photos, specs, pricing, protection options, and location information all in one place to make an informed purchase decision.

How It Works

When you click on a vehicle from search results, you’ll see its dedicated details page. The page is organized into sections you can scroll through or jump to using the navigation tabs. Start by viewing photos and basic information at the top, then explore pricing options, key specs, and protection packages. You can calculate monthly payments, get directions to the location, or contact directly using the provided information. When you’re ready, click “Buy now” to start your purchase or “Send inquiry” to ask questions. Image Gallery: See multiple photos of the vehicle. On desktop, view a large hero image with smaller images beside it. On mobile, swipe through a carousel of all available photos. View All Photos: Click the “Image Gallery” button to open a larger popup showing all photos in a scrollable grid. The button shows the total number of photos available. Special Badges: Look for tags like “New Arrival” or “Sale” overlaid on the images to identify special offers.

Check Vehicle Information

At the top of the page, you’ll find the vehicle’s complete title and key details. Title: Shows the year, make, and model of the vehicle. Basic Details: Below the title, see the condition (new or used), vehicle use (street legal or off-road only), fuel type, and vehicle category, all displayed with bullet points.

Review Pricing and Payments

Choose Your Payment View: Toggle between “Monthly” to see financing payments or “One-time” to see the full purchase price. Price Display: See the current price with any available discounts shown with the original price crossed out. Monthly view shows the payment per month, while one-time view shows the total price. Calculate Payment: Click the “Calculate Payment” button to open a detailed financing calculator showing your full payment breakdown with different options. Note that the exact payment will be determined by financing offers after you have applied for financing. Included upgrades: Some used vehicles come with pre-installed upgrades. When upgrades are included, their value is factored into the displayed price so the amount you see on listing cards and on the vehicle details page is the same combined total. Price Breakdown: View an itemized list showing:
  • Vehicle price
  • MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price), if applicable for your location
  • APR (interest rate) if financing
  • Term (loan duration) if financing
  • Down payment if financing
  • Total payment amount, if applicable for your location
  • Estimated shipping cost
Shipping Costs: If you’ve set your location, see the estimated shipping cost. If not, it will show “Calculated at checkout.” Pre-qualification: If you’re interested in financing, see your pre-qualification status. If you haven’t pre-qualified yet, click the button to get started — pre-qualification uses a soft credit pull with no impact to your credit score. A hard credit pull only happens later when you submit a full financing application. Take Action: Click “Buy now” to start your purchase (shows any savings you’ll get) or “Send inquiry” to ask questions. The inquiry form asks for your name, email, phone number, zip code, and an optional message. If you’ve already set your location, your zip code is filled in automatically.

Check Key Facts

Four quick-reference cards show the most important information: Condition: See if the vehicle is new or used, plus the current mileage. Availability: Know if the vehicle is available for online purchase or in stock. Location: See the city and state, plus how far away it is from your location. Click the location button to get turn-by-turn directions in your maps app. Delivery: View the estimated delivery timeframe (e.g., “2-4 business days”) and estimated shipping cost. If delivery isn’t available, you’ll see “Pickup only.”

Check Key Features

Browse highlighted vehicle features organized by category: Performance: Engine power, acceleration, and handling characteristics. Technology: Infotainment systems, connectivity features, and electronic systems. Safety: Active and passive safety features included with the vehicle. Comfort & Convenience: Interior amenities and rider/driver comfort features. Exterior & Design: Styling elements and aesthetic features. Utility & Capacity: Storage options and practical capabilities. Each category shows up to 3 top features. Click “View all features” to open a popup with the complete list of features across all categories.

Browse add-ons

If the vehicle has accessories assigned, you’ll see an Add-ons section (marked with a “Popular” tag) below Key Features. This section lets you preview available accessories before starting checkout. Desktop layout: Accessories display in a two-column grid with horizontal cards. Each card shows the accessory image or video on the right, with the name, description, and price on the left. Mobile layout: Accessories display as a swipeable horizontal slider with compact vertical cards. Each card shows the image on top with the name and price below. Each accessory shows:
  • Name and description explaining what the accessory is
  • Price displayed as an add-on cost (e.g., ”+$149.99”)
  • Images or videos you can click to open a full-screen media viewer. If multiple media items are available, a badge shows the count
Some accessories may be marked as pre-installed, meaning they already come with the vehicle. These show a checkmark icon instead of a price. Backorder availability: Some items may be available for backorder if they are currently out of stock. Backorder items are clearly marked so you know what to expect.
Not all vehicles have add-ons listed on the details page. You can also browse and add accessories during checkout. Learn more about adding parts and accessories at checkout.

ATV age restriction notices

If you’re viewing an ATV (all-terrain vehicle), you may see an age restriction notice on the vehicle details page. The notice appears below the key features section, after you’ve reviewed the core vehicle information. These notices are required by federal safety regulations and help you determine whether the ATV is appropriate for the intended rider. Youth ATVs (smaller engine sizes) display an informational notice indicating the recommended minimum rider age — such as 6+, 10+, or 12+ — based on the ATV’s engine displacement. These recommendations follow ANSI/SVIA age-grading standards designed to match vehicle size and power to rider capability. Adult ATVs (larger engine sizes) display a warning notice stating the vehicle is intended for riders aged 16 and older only. Adult ATVs are not recommended for younger riders due to their size and power.
ATV age restriction notices are determined automatically based on the vehicle’s engine displacement and cannot be modified. They appear only on ATV listings.

California-specific disclosures

If you or the dealer are located in California, you may see additional information on the vehicle details page to comply with California consumer protection regulations:
  • MSRP row: The price breakdown includes the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) so you can compare it against the listed vehicle price.
  • Proposition 65 warning: A disclosure appears in the vehicle details informing you that the vehicle may expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. This warning is required by California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act (Proposition 65).
  • Total payment amount: The payment calculator displays the total amount you would pay over the life of the loan, giving you full transparency into the cost of financing.
These disclosures appear automatically based on your location or the dealer’s location — no action is required on your part.
California-specific disclosures are determined by location and cannot be modified. They appear whenever you or the dealer are in California.

Check Key Specs

Review the most relevant technical specifications for this vehicle type. The specs shown are prioritized based on what matters most for the vehicle category:
  • Motorcycles show displacement, horsepower, torque, transmission speeds, seat height, and weight
  • Trucks and pickups show power, torque, towing capacity, payload capacity, and fuel economy
  • SUVs show power, cargo capacity, towing capacity, fuel economy, and ground clearance
  • Sedans and coupes show power, fuel economy, transmission, and performance figures
Click “View all specs” to open a popup with the complete specifications organized by category (Drive & Powertrain, Performance, Measurements, Wheels & Tires, etc.).

Review the mechanical report

If a used vehicle has a mechanical inspection report, you’ll see a Mechanical report section on the details page. This section gives you transparency into the vehicle’s mechanical condition before you visit or purchase. Header summary: A brief description of the vehicle’s overall mechanical health, written by the dealer. Inspection report PDF: A full mechanical inspection report is available to view directly on the page. You can scroll through the PDF inline or expand it to view the full document. The report typically includes findings from a professional inspection covering engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and other mechanical systems.
The mechanical report section only appears on used vehicles where the dealer has uploaded an inspection report. If you don’t see this section, the dealer has not added a mechanical report for that vehicle. Contact the dealer directly for condition details.

Review title and history

If a used vehicle has title and history information available, you’ll see a Title & history section on the details page. This section helps you understand the vehicle’s ownership background and history. Title brand: Shows the vehicle’s title status, such as Clean, Salvage, Rebuilt, Flood Damage, or other classifications. A clean title means no major damage history or branding events on record. Prior use: Describes how the vehicle was previously used, such as Personal, Commercial, Lease, Rental, Farm/Agricultural, or Dealer Demo. Vehicle history report PDF: If the dealer has uploaded a vehicle history report (such as a Carfax or AutoCheck report), you can view it directly on the page. Scroll through the PDF inline or expand it to see the full document.
The title and history section only appears on used vehicles where the dealer has enabled it. Not all listings include this information. If you want title or history details for a vehicle that doesn’t show this section, contact the dealer directly.

Check for open recalls

If a vehicle has any open safety recalls, a recalls section appears on the details page. Each recall shows:
  • Component — the affected part or system
  • Recall ID — the NHTSA campaign number
  • Status — whether the recall is open with a repair available
  • Issue — a description of the safety defect
  • Repair — the recommended fix
You can click the link to the NHTSA website to verify recall details independently. Recall repairs are performed at no cost to you by any authorized dealer for that manufacturer.
The recalls section only appears when a vehicle has open recalls. If no open recalls exist, you won’t see this section.

Explore protection options

Affordable Protection Section: Learn about available protection packages that can safeguard your purchase and help you avoid costly repairs. Protection plans typically cover various components and services such as powertrain warranties, tire and wheel protection, GAP coverage, and theft protection. Each plan shows different coverage levels, durations, and monthly pricing options. Review the available plans to understand what’s covered, how long the coverage lasts, and the monthly cost. You’ll choose your protection plan once your payment option is finalized at checkout.

View Location Information

Location Card: See the logo, location map, and contact details all in one card. Google Reviews: If the dealer has connected their Google Business Profile, you’ll see their star rating and total number of reviews. Click the review count to read the full reviews on Google. Store Hours: Check if the location is currently open or closed, and when it will open or close next. Click to expand the full week’s schedule to see all operating hours. Get Directions: Click the address to open your maps app with turn-by-turn directions to the location. Contact:
  • Call: Click the phone number to call directly.
  • Email: Click the email address to open your email app with the address pre-filled.
Interactive Map: View an embedded map showing the exact location. Back to Search: Click the back button in the top toolbar to return to your search results. Location Button: Click to set or change your zip code, which updates distance calculations and enables delivery estimates. • Features — key features and specs sections

  • Mechanical report — mechanical inspection report (if available for the vehicle)
  • Title & history — title brand, prior use, and vehicle history report (if available for the vehicle)
  • Recalls — open safety recall notices (if any exist for the vehicle)

  • Location info — location information section
Sticky Bottom Bar (Mobile): On mobile, after scrolling past the payment section, a bottom bar appears with “Send inquiry” and “Buy now” buttons for quick access.

Only high-confidence data from the vehicle’s VIN decode is displayed. If a feature or spec isn’t shown, it means the data wasn’t available or verified for this specific vehicle.
