Overview
Ekho Checkout surfaces every promotion available to you in one place. From the Promotions box on your order summary, you can enter a discount code, browse eligible offers, and remove promotions you no longer want — all without leaving the page. Applied savings are itemized in your order summary so you always know which promotions reduced your total and by how much. How It Works
The Promotions box sits inside your order summary on the right side of checkout (or inside the expandable basket on mobile). It is always visible, even before you apply anything.Apply a Discount Code
Open the Promotions modal
Click Apply code in the Promotions box.
The Promotions window opens with a code input at the top and any eligible offers below.
Enter your code
Type or paste your discount code into the input and press Apply (or hit Enter).
Valid codes are applied immediately. A toast confirms the result.
Review applied promotions
Applied promotions appear as rows under the input, each showing the promotion name and the savings amount. Invalid codes display a short reason — for example, that the code has expired or does not match your vehicle.
Browse Eligible Offers
The Promotions modal also lists every offer your cart qualifies for, including rebates and product discounts you do not need a code for. Each offer card shows the benefit, eligibility notes, and a Learn more link with the full terms. Offers that conflict with each other (for example, two financing rebates that cannot stack) are grouped so you can see your options at a glance.Remove a Promotion
Open the Promotions modal and click the remove icon next to any applied promotion row. The savings are removed from your order summary immediately.Where Savings Appear
After a promotion is applied, your order summary updates in two places:- Vehicle price — product discounts (for example, $500 off or 5% off) appear as a tagged line directly under the vehicle price.
- Savings — rebates (for example, a $1,000 manufacturer rebate) appear in a dedicated Savings section between Vehicle price and Taxes & fees.
Financing promotions (such as promotional APR) are reflected in your financing terms rather than as a separate line on the receipt.
Stacking Multiple Promotions
You can apply multiple promotions to a single order when they are configured to stack. The Promotions box shows a live count of how many are currently applied, and the Savings section breaks out each one on its own line so you can see the contribution of every promotion to your total. If two promotions are mutually exclusive, applying the second will replace the first. The modal indicates this before you confirm.Mobile Experience
On phones and small screens:- The Promotions modal opens fullscreen for easier code entry.
- The collapsed Due today total reflects promotions you have applied even before the server finishes recalculating.
- Tapping the basket expands a savings row alongside vehicle, accessories, and tax lines.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
My code says it's invalid — what should I check?
My code says it's invalid — what should I check?
Codes are case-insensitive but must match exactly. Verify the code has not expired, that it applies to the vehicle in your cart, and that you meet any buyer eligibility requirements. The invalid row in the modal shows the specific reason.
Can I use more than one promo code?
Can I use more than one promo code?
Yes, as long as the promotions are configured to stack. Each applied promotion appears as its own row in the modal and its own line under Savings. If two promotions conflict, applying the newer one replaces the older one.
Why don't I see a Savings section on my receipt?
Why don't I see a Savings section on my receipt?
The Savings section only renders when at least one rebate-type promotion is applied. Product discounts appear under Vehicle price instead, and financing offers are reflected in your loan terms.
I removed a promotion — can I add it back?
I removed a promotion — can I add it back?
Yes. Reopen the Promotions modal and either re-enter the code or select the offer from the eligible offers list.
