Overview

Cryptocurrency payment lets you complete your vehicle purchase using crypto through Stripe’s secure payment platform. When you select this option, you are redirected to Stripe to complete your payment—no card details or bank information needed at checkout.

How it works

Cryptocurrency payments process through Stripe’s redirect-based flow. You select crypto at checkout, place your order, and are redirected to Stripe to complete the transaction.

Full payment only

Cryptocurrency is a full-payment method:
  • Covers the entire remaining balance of your order
  • Cannot be split with other payment methods
  • Applied at checkout when you select “Pay with Crypto”

Redirect-based flow

Unlike credit card payments, crypto uses a redirect:
  • No card or bank details entered during checkout
  • You are redirected to Stripe’s hosted crypto payment page after placing your order
  • Stripe handles the cryptocurrency transaction securely
  • You are returned to the checkout experience after payment

Purchase limits

Cryptocurrency payments have transaction limits:
  • Minimum: $0.50
  • Maximum: $50,000
  • If your order total falls outside this range, crypto will not be available

Crypto payment discount

Some sellers offer a discount for paying with crypto:
  • The discount is automatically applied when you select “Pay with Crypto”
  • The discount amount varies and is displayed during checkout
  • Not all sellers offer a crypto discount
